About The Position

Psych Health Associates is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Assistant to join their growing team. This is a fully remote position supporting providers and patients across the post-acute care continuum. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, customer service-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced virtual healthcare environment. Applicants must currently reside in the State of Florida. Candidates living outside of Florida will not be considered.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• MUST RESIDE IN FLORIDA

Nice To Haves

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• BLS Certification
• Experience obtaining and documenting vital signs
• Previous experience with EMR systems

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and provider communication
• Manage provider schedules and appointment coordination
• Serve as a liaison between hospitals, providers, and primary care offices
• Communicate with patients, providers, and healthcare facilities
• Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally
• Review patient charts and maintain accurate documentation
• Enter and update patient information within EMR systems
• Process orders, including faxing and mailing as needed
• Generate and review billing and operational reports
• Collaborate closely with the Operations Team to support quality patient care
