About The Position

One Community Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its Washington clinic team, working in both Stevenson and White Salmon. Certified and non-certified candidates are welcome. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule of 36 to 40 hours per week, with potential weekend opportunities after a 90-day training period.

The Medical Assistant supports patient intake and processing, treatments and procedures, patient instruction and education, and triage communication among patients, medical providers, and licensed nurses. Additional work includes quality control checks, performance improvement, stocking supplies, sterilizing equipment, managing patient records, and scheduling patients.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience working in a clinical medical environment; examples include EMT, nursing home, ski patrol, or taking vital signs.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
• Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Records.
• Medical Assistant certification is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake and processing.
