About The Position

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a talented Medical Assistant to join our esteemed Primary Care medical team. This is a full-time position with Monday - Friday hours. The role involves direct patient care, ensuring an excellent patient experience, and assisting physicians, ARNPs, or PAs. Responsibilities include collecting patient vitals, medical histories, administering diagnostic tests, performing basic medical procedures, and entering data into electronic health records. Millennium provides comprehensive training, including classroom and hands-on sessions covering Electronic Health Records, referral processes, and the Patient Portal.

Requirements

• Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Completion of Certification or Registration
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
• All certification received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems
• Regularly required to stand, walk, climb and balance
• Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
