About The Position
The Medical Assistant works in the Pulmonary Clinic and performs activities under the direction of the clinic physician. The role also functions as a receptionist for Pulmonology, interacting with clinical and non-clinical staff, patients, family members, and visitors. The position maintains interdepartmental relations, coordinates communications between departments, and participates in departmental billing and reporting as necessary. The position is located in Montrose, Colorado.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant training program.
- BLS certification upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant experience is preferred, though it may not be required.
- Additional education or training in a related field is considered on an individual basis.
Responsibilities
