About The Position

The Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative responsibilities in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. Typically work on semi-routine assignments. You will report to the Center Administrator of the clinic. Now offering $2,000 Bonus for Bilingual Medical Assistants who join our new Primary Care Clinics in Phoenix in 2026. You will work at : CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at: 63 North Greenfield, Mesa, AZ 85205

Requirements

• Complete a MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified

Nice To Haves

• Certified or Registered – (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina you require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• 1+ years MA experience
• Value-based care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
• Bilingual proficient in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam before foreign language communication

Responsibilities

• Discusses symptoms, obtains vital signs, administers medications and vaccines, performs phlebotomy, collects specimens, conducts screening tests, sterilizes equipment, maintains exam rooms, documents in electronic records, and collaborates with providers within certification limits.
• Patient facing and run the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
