About The Position

The Medical Assistant serves as the initial point of contact for patient care, handling both administrative duties and direct patient care. This role involves performing a variety of activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments, typically working on semi-routine tasks. The position reports to the Center Administrator of the clinic. CenterWell Senior Primary Care focuses on providing proactive, preventive care to seniors, including wellness visits, physical exams, chronic condition management, screenings, and minor injury treatment. Requirements

  • Complete a MA school/training program or be a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or have 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR Certified
  • Screen for TB (if selected for the role)

Nice To Haves

  • Certified or Registered (required in Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina)
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Medication/vaccine administration experience
  • 1+ years MA experience
  • Value-based care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
  • Bilingual proficient in English and Spanish (must pass proficiency exam before foreign language communication)
