About The Position

Candidates must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate should have clinical experience and a job history exhibiting stability and longevity. This role involves serving as a patient advocate, recording medical history, preparing patients for examination and treatment, and assisting providers with procedures. Key responsibilities include performing hands-on tasks such as blood draws, injections, wound care, and assisting during procedures. The position also requires maintaining accurate electronic health records (EHR), patient education, handling prescription refills, and collecting/delivering lab specimens, all while ensuring HIPAA compliance and safe OSHA practices.

Responsibilities

Serve as a patient advocate during patient exams and treatment.
Recording medical history and confirming the purpose of the visit.
Ensure proper documentation is obtained prior to preparing the patient for treatment.
Prepares patients for examination.
Help providers examine and treat patients.
Perform hands-on elements such as blood draws, injections, wound care, and assisting during procedures.
