About The Position
The Medical Assistant (Float) works on a per-diem basis with a varying schedule at the UW Health Home Health Care Clinic, 2550 Charles St. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. The role requires an accredited associate degree or Medical Assistant program, or at least five years of experience in addition to military training. Applicable employer-based clinic staff must complete laboratory and phlebotomy training within 30 days of hire.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited associate degree or Medical Assistant program, or a minimum of five years of experience in addition to military training.
- For employer-based clinics, laboratory and phlebotomy training must be completed within 30 days of hire.
- Provide a copy of a high school diploma or equivalent, or the highest level of completed degree obtained.
- RMA, AAMA, CCMA, or NCCT certification is required upon hire and must be actively maintained.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required.
