About The Position

Foundations Behavioral Health in Doylestown, PA is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time day shift position (Monday - Friday 7a-3p) to support our Doylestown, PA campus. Foundations Behavioral Health provides innovative behavioral health treatment and academic excellence to children, adolescents and young adults. Established in 1964, Foundations Behavioral Health provides treatment in a homelike environment located on a 12-acre campus in Bucks County, PA. Foundations provides a full continuum of care for children, adolescents, and young adults spanning hospitalization to outpatient and academic services.
The Medical Assistant position: Provides assistance to pediatrician/nurse practitioners on daily sick call rounds for inpatient and RTF residents. Improves the patient experience through daily patient interaction, clerical support, ongoing projects, and additional duties as needed. Supports a variety of clerical functions including calls, documentation, scanning, etc.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA/AAMA).
