About The Position

The IMA Group is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Medical Assistant to join its team in Williamsport, PA. The role supports healthcare professionals in delivering medical assessments and evaluations in a collaborative healthcare environment. The position is onsite, and has no on-call responsibilities.

The IMA Group’s Government Services Division supports local, state, and federal agencies with medical and psychological examinations and ancillary services. Its Payer Services Division provides evaluation and screening services to carriers, TPAs, public entities, and employers, including behavioral health and physical medicine specialty services. Its Clinical Research Division conducts Phase II–IV clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas through a nationwide network of sites and virtual capabilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior healthcare experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, detail-oriented approach.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and medical evaluations.
• Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Conduct routine clinical procedures, including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Maintain medical records and handle patient inquiries.
• Organize and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
