About The Position

We are looking for a Temporary Medical Assistant to join our team. Your job will be to provide welcoming care to our patients. As a Medical Assistant, your genuine spirit of caring welcomes patients as the first step in treatment prior to seeing the Doctor, NP, or PA. You will determine the nature of the patient’s visit and obtain vitals. Your thorough and concise chart documentation will provide clear necessary communication. You will maintain a clean and organized environment for both patients and staff.

Requirements

Current Medical Assistant Certificate.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
The ability to work with people from all walks of life and to meet them in their place of need.
Medical Assistant certification must be maintained throughout employment.
If an employee does not pass the certification test, they will be given an additional 3 months to retake the test.
All Medical Assistants must be certified within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program, a minimum of 6 months in length, preferred.
Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities
