About The Position

QualDerm Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support patient care at its Greenville, North Carolina location. The position is PRN (as needed) and requires travel between the Rocky Mount, Wilson, and Zebulon offices. The Medical Assistant contributes to patient care and a positive patient experience across dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery services.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role.
Knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain patient confidentiality.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Basic proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general office software.

Nice To Haves

Medical Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring necessary instruments are available.
Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications.
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices.
Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
May support the clinic’s social media presence by gathering content, sharing clinic-approved updates, and assisting with community engagement as directed.
