About The Position
We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team in Anchorage, AK! This is a full time role with wonderful benefits and plenty of room for growth! JOB TITLE: Certified Medical Assistant. DEPARTMENT: Clinic Services. SUMMARY OF DUTIES: A nonexempt position. Medical assistants function as members of the health care delivery team performing delegated clinical and administrative procedures within the supervising provider’s scope of practice consistent with the CMA’s education, training and experience. Such duties shall not constitute the practice of medicine.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
- CMA and CPR certifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepares exam and treatment rooms and ensures cleanliness.
- Prepares patients for examination and treatment.
- Takes patient histories and vital signs.
- Assists with patient EKGs.
- Preparing patient charts for appointments.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned by supervision.
