About The Position

US Fertility is seeking a Medical Assistant to join Shady Grove Fertility in Houston, Texas. This position floats to Clear Lake, Beaumont, Memorial City, Katy, and Spring Woodlands, Texas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM, with a weekend rotation in Clear Lake, Texas. The role supports fertility patients through clinical and administrative work, including phlebotomy, specimen handling, procedure assistance, patient education, and compassionate support. The position offers the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization and work closely with patients and clinical teams.

Requirements

• Strong phlebotomy skills.
• Completion of a formal medical assistant program.
• Strong patient orientation and ability to work as a team player.
• Professionalism and strong customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Background in women's health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy.
• Maintain supplies for blood-drawing stations.
• Ensure laboratory specimens are sent to the proper laboratories.
• Document patient care services using daily logs and patient records.
• Use a computer to enter laboratory information and print labels.
• Assist a physician or ultrasound technician with procedures.
• Assist with HSGs as needed.
• Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance.
• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients.
• Provide patient and couple counseling and procedure teaching, and communicate physician orders and instructions.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative education.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
• Work independently to help achieve program goals.
• Support and promote excellence in customer service.
• Perform administrative tasks, including prior authorizations.
