About The Position

Join Lovelace Medical Group as a variable-shift, PRN Float Pool Medical Assistant in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by a physician and/or advanced practice provider.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) knowledge.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree.
• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant or medical technologist school/program.
• Prior experience supporting patient care in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
