About The Position
A Medical Assistant carries out a range of clinical and administrative duties in an outpatient examination room while supervised by a physician. The position is located at 11501 SW 40th Street, Miami, FL 33165, and is full-time. Requirements
- Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy certifications from an accredited provider.
- CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Fluency in English and Spanish to communicate effectively with the patient population.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, or in additional areas of patient health care in a clinical setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Take patients' vital signs and input patient information into the ERM system.
- Prepare patients for necessary examinations.
- Clean and disinfect treatment spaces.
- Comply with LMC's infection control policies and procedures.
