About The Position

A Medical Assistant is responsible for skilled delivery of patient care and procedures, administering medication, and supporting clinical tasks. The role includes knowledge of immunization and point-of-care testing, phlebotomy experience, patient triage, and direct patient care. It also requires knowledge of medical terminology, strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment. Efficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) is required. Additional clinical tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of immunization and medical terminology.
• Experience with phlebotomy.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment.
• Efficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR).

Nice To Haves

• RMA or CMA certification.
• BLS certification.
