About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for their Baptist Primary Care; Reedy Branch office, located in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves rooming patients, triaging patient calls, and potentially assisting with check-out and other Medical Assistants. The ideal candidate will be proficient in administering medications and vaccines, and possess strong teamwork skills. Requirements
- 2 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual is a Bonus
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
Responsibilities
- Room patients
- Triage patient calls
- Periodically cross cover Check-Out and/or other MAs
- Administer meds/vaccines
- Provides medical assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules appts. and cross train
