About The Position

Main Line Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant for Comprehensive Weight Management in Broomall, PA. As a Medical Assistant, you will care for patients by assisting physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKG’s, etc. Use your skills to help maintain a smooth patient flow and anticipate needs.

Requirements

• Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology required.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.

Nice To Haves

• One year experience preferred.
• Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred.
• Knowledge of third party payors preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKG’s, etc.
• Maintain a smooth patient flow
• Anticipate patient needs
