About The Position

The Medical Assistant provides basic patient care and performs job-specific tasks under the direct supervision of a physician or other licensed medical provider, following established policies and procedures. The role supports patients’ and families’ personal needs, comfort, and safety. Responsibilities include clinical, environmental, and administrative duties in designated areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
• One of the following credentials: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as an outpatient or ambulatory Medical Assistant.
• General experience with EPIC EMR.
