About The Position
The Medical Assistant supports the nurse and front office with day-to-day duties at the Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic. The role reports to the Clinic Manager and includes patient-care tasks, room preparation, instrument processing, and assisting with front-desk operations as needed. The position is based at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and is full-time, Monday through Friday, on the day shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of experience in a previous medical assistant role.
Responsibilities
- Obtain patient vital signs and enter data into the electronic medical records system.
- Perform necessary CLIA-waived tests.
- Clean rooms after patient use.
- Ensure exam rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
- Appropriately process soiled instruments.
- Assist the front desk with daily operations as needed.
