About The Position
The Medical Assistant - Dermatology Ballard supports providers in conducting quality clinics by performing a variety of back-office activities, including administering injections, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy, quality surveys, and other procedures. The role delivers exceptional customer service and maintains established quality control standards. Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Registered or Certified Medical Assistant through the Washington State Department of Health, or able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- Current CPR and/or BLS certification, or able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Pass a drug test before beginning employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform back-office activities to assist providers in conducting quality clinics.
- Administer injections, conduct diagnostic testing and phlebotomy, complete quality surveys, and perform other procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Maintain established quality control standards.
