Requirements
- Holding a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) credential.
- Compassion, attention to detail, adaptability, and strong communication are essential to connect with and support patients and team effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Prior clinical experience in OB/GYN or women's health.
- CPR certification
- Familiarity with anatomical, lab, and regulatory knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Greet, prepare, and room patients—collecting medical history and vital signs to set the tone for a smooth visit.
- Prepare exam rooms and necessary supplies—ensuring efficiency and a calm environment for both patient and provider.
- Assist with minor procedures—such as suture/staple removal, dressing applications, reproductive health procedures—within your scope.
- Draw lab specimens, conduct point-of-care testing, and accurately update patient charts and records.
- Provide administrative and logistical support—handling referrals, authorizations, appointment confirmations, and billing assistance.
