About The Position

This posting establishes a place for current or future applicants interested in Medical Assistant positions at Swedish Health Services DBA Swedish Medical Group in Seattle, Washington. On-call, part-time, and full-time opportunities may be available across day, evening, night, or variable shifts.

The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner and performs assigned duties to assist in providing patient care. The MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs and functions of the assigned clinic or work location. The role is performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants; or graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program; or completion of two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces; or at least one year of medical assistant work experience that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Six months of healthcare experience.
• Six months of Medical Assistant experience.
