About The Position

Low-T Southlake, TX is seeking a caring, energetic Medical Assistant who loves connecting with patients and making their experience exceptional. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment where no two days are exactly alike and is ready to grow their career while making a real impact in men's health and wellness. At Low-T powered by SynergenX, the focus is on helping men take control of their health through personalized wellness programs, including hormone replacement therapy, nutrition and dietary support, weight management, and lifestyle-focused wellness programs. The Medical Assistant will work alongside experienced leaders and play an important role in creating a positive, professional patient experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; proof of diploma required
• At least 6 months of medical assisting experience/ Phlebotomy experience required
• Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping people
• Comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced clinic
• Proficient with EMR systems
• Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and sterilization/infection-control procedures
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Southlake, TX

Nice To Haves

• Experience assisting with minor procedures preferred
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document manual vital signs
• Perform routine blood draws and phlebotomy
• Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider
• Maintain lab equipment and complete required documentation and quality controls
• Prepare and process in-house labs and ensure outside laboratory testing is properly ordered and ready for processing
• Complete weekly inventory, ordering, and related clinic communications
• Assist with front-desk responsibilities when needed
• Support a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment
• Help create an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors
• Bring a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-first mindset every day
