About The Position

SynergenX is seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Medical Assistant who genuinely enjoys connecting with patients and creating a great experience. This role is more than just a medical assistant job; we are looking for someone who can connect with people, stay focused, and keep the clinic moving. You will work alongside providers and teammates to help patients feel comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their wellness journey. The ideal candidate brings positive energy, enjoys staying busy, and thrives as part of a team. This is a part-time, onsite position approximately 20 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED — proof required
• At least 3 months of relevant medical experience performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR 180 documented externship hours
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Basic knowledge of EMR systems, HIPAA, and clinical safety practices
• Successful completion of a criminal background check
• Willing to work some evenings and Saturdays
• Comfortable using computers and EMR systems
• Customer-service minded

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant experience preferred, but not required
• MA or Phlebotomy certification preferred, but not required
• Experience with minor procedures is a plus

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and creating a friendly, positive experience
• Taking manual patient vitals
• Performing routine blood draws and venipuncture
• Administering IM and subcutaneous injections as directed
• Assisting providers with minor procedures
• Preparing and processing laboratory testing
• Maintaining accurate documentation and quality-control records
• Keeping clinical areas clean, organized, and properly sterilized
• Assisting with inventory and clinic organization
• Supporting front desk duties when needed
• Working with teammates to keep patient flow running smoothly
