About The Position

Colorado Physician Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant for Littleton Internal Medicine Associates. The role works with Clinical services staff to provide patient care and customer service, helping create a welcoming environment that supports patient comfort and trust. The Medical Assistant prepares for patient visits, maintains exam rooms, screens and prepares patients, assists during examinations, and keeps supplies and work areas in order. The position requires a positive, flexible attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• Ability to take medical histories, understand instructions, and accurately document information.
• High degree of diplomacy and tact.
• Beginner to intermediate computing and phone skills.
• Willingness to adapt to various duties and cross-train within other departments.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of Universal Precautions and adherence to HIPAA standards.

Nice To Haves

• Current, valid Medical Assistant certification.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or other languages.
• Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Review and update patient records before in-person or Telehealth appointments, ensuring recent test results and correspondence are up to date.
• Clean and stock exam rooms between patient visits in accordance with infection control standards.
• Prepare patients for visits and notify the physician or mid-level provider when they are ready.
• Greet patients, take vital signs, and accurately document basic medical history.
• Assist physicians or mid-level providers during patient examinations.
• Restock supplies, check inventory, and keep work areas clean and orderly.
