About The Position

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to join our REMARKABLE team. This role involves collaborating with pain management practitioners who provide medication management, interventional treatments, pain psychology, addiction counseling, and support groups. The Medical Assistant will also promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for examination, obtaining vital signs, documenting chief complaint, medications, and allergies, and assisting with treatments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or
  • Licensure as an LPN or
  • Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or an Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program or
  • Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee or
  • Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program – Accelerated or
  • One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification
  • Certified as MA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA within 1 Year Required or
  • Licensure as an LPN Upon Hire Required
  • If applying in lieu of Medical Assistant education or LPN licensure, must have current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification Upon Hire Required
  • CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN
