About The Position

PartnerCare, an affiliate of Jaffe Sports Medicine, is seeking a talented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join their exceptional team. The practice focuses on taking care of the patient with a comprehensive plan, delivering high customer service, keeping patients safe and well-informed, and reducing patients' pain as much as possible. They are committed to the betterment of their communities by providing comprehensive pain management care led by interventional pain specialists so that patients can live their best functional lives. The team of physicians, nurses, anesthesiologists, and staff are dedicated to ensuring that patients can improve their quality of life with pain relief that involves the use of cutting-edge technology. The Medical Assistant role will provide outstanding service, compassion, and care to patients. They will work as part of the care team with the Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to ensure the patient has the best possible experience. The right person for this role will delight in providing a great experience to the patient, will have a curious mind that always looks for a way to improve, and be compassionate for patients experiencing chronic and/or acute pain. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistant program required.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pain management or specialty care preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
  • Experience with C-arm fluoroscopy and knowledge of procedures including RFA and SI joint injections preferred.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems; eClinicalWorks experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a warm and welcoming patient experience while preparing the patient and their information for their visit with their provider.
  • Assisting with the medical appointment as instructed by the provider.
  • Cleaning, preparing and stocking rooms.
  • Communicating with the patients and other providers about their care as instructed by the provider.
  • Documenting accurately about the visit in the electronic medical record.
