About The Position

Sentara Health is currently hiring for a Medical Assistant to join the Radiation Oncology team! The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Requirements

High School Diploma
1yr of clinical/admin experience required.
