About The Position

HealthFirst Bluegrass is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. In this role, you'll partner with providers to deliver high-quality care, support positive patient experiences, and help ensure efficient clinic operations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or approved equivalent).
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for serving others.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of medical assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient exams, treatments, injections, and procedures.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, medications, immunizations, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record.
• Perform phlebotomy, laboratory testing, specimen collection, and other clinical support services.
• Support patient flow, coordinate referrals, schedule appointments, and assist with patient communications.
• Prepare exam rooms, maintain supplies, and help create a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
• Participate in team huddles and contribute to providing exceptional care and service.
