About The Position
Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is hiring a PRN Medical Assistant for its Highland Office. The role supports physicians with office-based medical procedures and is responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. A valid Florida driver’s license is needed for travel to clinics. BLS certification is required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days; FCS will provide a BLS course during that period.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; proof is required at the time of hire.
- Valid Florida driver’s license for travel to clinics.
- BLS certification upon hire or within 30 days of employment.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office.
- Ability to perform venipunctures.
Responsibilities
