About The Position

Premise is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to provide care to client employees and their dependents at its Health Center in Elko, Nevada. The position primarily supports the Lab and floats to other clinical areas as needed. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. One weekend per month, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measure vital signs, including pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records.
• Prepare treatment rooms and clean and sterilize instruments.
• Administer medications, including injections; perform laboratory tests; and operate EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations.
• Perform administrative tasks, assist at the front desk, schedule appointments, make follow-up calls, and order medical supplies.
• Float to other clinical areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
