About The Position

Premise Health is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide care to client employees and their dependents at a health center in Elko, Nevada. The role supports the Walk-In/Acute Care service line. The anticipated schedule consists of rotating four-day, 10-hour shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Monday–Thursday and Tuesday–Friday), plus one to two weekends per month, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures in accordance with guidelines.
• Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records and documentation.
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
