About The Position
Provide safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care services under the supervision and direction of a licensed physician and nurse. Perform routine tasks needed to care for patients in the Centers for Family Health clinic setting. This is a temporary position eligible for benefits and may be converted to a permanent position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Medical Assistant diploma or certificate of completion from a Medical Assistant training program, or current certification as a Medical Assistant from a recognized organization (such as CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), NCMA (NCCT), or RMA (AMT)).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
