We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full-Time Medical Assistant in our Practice Management. The Medical Assistant supports a busy multi-specialty faculty practice office(s). The ideal candidate have a proactive personality, can take initiative, is team oriented and able to work in a fast pace environment as well as travel to different practice sites during a week.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent graduate of state approved medical assistant certificate program or 2 years experience as a direct care provider in a related clinical setting or a combination of education and experience acceptable.
- EKG and Phlebotomy Certified

Responsibilities
- Patient registration and scheduling
- patient triage
- assisting physician with patient exams
- completing lab results and chart documentation
- working on prescription orders with pharmacies
