About The Position

Seattle Children’s is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its specialized pediatric gastroenterology clinic. The role supports patient flow and clinic operations, assists with procedures such as in-clinic transnasal endoscopies, teaches families about gastrointestinal care, and coordinates home care orders. The position offers opportunities to sub-specialize in areas including inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology, intestinal rehabilitation, motility, and the brain-gut connection. The clinic is described as busy and fast-paced, with a collaborative team focused on exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Current Medical Assistant–Certified designation from the Washington Department of Health.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
• Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification; eligible for a premium.
• Current Medical Assistant experience in pediatrics, urgent care experience, and/or medical screening and immunization experience.
