About The Position

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative medical office. The position is based at 428 Hartford Turnpike and works Monday through Friday. Requirements

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program, or an active Connecticut CNA, EMT, Paramedic, or Medic certification, or qualifying direct patient-care experience.
• Certified BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association, obtained within 90 days of hire or job transfer.
• Maintain all required credentials throughout employment.
• At least one year of direct patient-care experience in an acute or ambulatory setting may be considered in lieu of the education requirement.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant experience or a Medical Assistant externship in a busy medical office.
• EPIC EMR experience.
