About The Position

Hightop Health is hiring a Medical Assistant / Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician to administer TMS therapy to patients with mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and OCD. The technician works with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized treatment plans and support patient safety and well-being throughout therapy sessions. The position floats among Hightop Health clinics in the Atlanta region. The hourly rate is $18–$22, depending on experience, with mileage reimbursement. Requirements

Certified Medical Assistant certification is required.
Previous experience working in a clinical setting, preferably with individuals experiencing mental health disorders.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Willingness to undergo background checks and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and licensure requirements.

Nice To Haves

Certification or training in TMS administration is preferred; the employer is willing to train the right candidate.
Experience with the Athena EHR is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial patient assessments to determine suitability for TMS therapy.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
Perform TMS therapy sessions according to established protocols and safety standards.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Document patient responses and treatment outcomes accurately and comprehensively.
Collaborate with psychiatrists and nurse practitioners to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
Educate patients and their families about TMS therapy and address their questions or concerns.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards in patient care.
