About The Position

Full Time Medical Assistant/Surgery Scheduler needed for busy orthopedic physician in South OKC. The position has a critical role in keeping the fast paced clinic running efficiently so they must be reliable, self motivated, have excellent people skills and able to work both front and back office when needed.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) required.

Nice To Haves

• RMA Certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of electronic health records (Epic) a plus.
• Orthopedic experience preferred but not required.
• Worker's Compensation knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the provider with rooming, interviewing, taking vitals, providing accurate documentation in EHR and processing forms to include referrals, prescriptions, etc.
• Responsible for bracing and casting as ordered by physician.
• Daily maintenance of the surgery schedule and aspects of the scheduling process.
• Triage patient calls, authorizations, keeping exam rooms cleaned/restocked and other duties as assigned.
