About The Position

Saline Clinic, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a PRN Certified Medical Assistant for its orthopedic clinic in Benton, Arkansas. The role supports physicians and nurses in patient assessments and treatments, performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection, monitors and communicates changes in patient condition, and documents care. The Medical Assistant also maintains medical equipment, supplies, and examination areas; performs clerical and administrative tasks as assigned; and provides exceptional customer service to patients and teammates. The team emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, compassion, and clear communication.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification through AAMA or NHA required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of physicians or nurses.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and collect specimens.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Document patient care provided.
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain examination areas.
• Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and teammates.
