About The Position
Sentara Spring Creek Family Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant-non-certified in Zion Crossroads, VA! This role involves performing patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The position is Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional floating as needed. Great customer service skills are essential.
Requirements
- One year of clinical/administrative experience required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Certification must be received within (9) nine months of employment in one of the following certification programs: CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or CMA- Certified Medical Assistant or RMA- Registered Medical Assistant or EMT- Emergency Medical Technician
