Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. About This Location: At the Endocrinology clinic at 9200 W Loomis Rd. in Franklin , our multidisciplinary team works together to deliver life-changing care for patients navigating complex hormonal and metabolic disorders. From managing advanced diabetes therapies and thyroid conditions to treating complex pituitary and adrenal disorders, every professional plays a critical role in the patient journey. Our PSRs anchor the clinic by managing patient access and coordination, while our clinical team of MAs, LPNs, and RNs collaborate closely to provide specialized clinical assessments, critical patient education, and comprehensive care plans. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have an accredited medical assistant diploma or 2 years of verifiable medical assistant experience within the past five years.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy skills are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
- Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
- Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
- Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
