Medical Assistant (MA) / LPN: Parkersburg Clinic
About The Position
The Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse supports the operation of the Parkersburg Clinic by performing administrative and clinical tasks. The role assists physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. It also coordinates patient flow, maintains accurate medical records, and helps ensure a positive patient experience. The position is located in Parkersburg, Iowa, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on the day shift.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or successful completion of an accredited LPN program.
- For the Medical Assistant pathway, MA certification or registration is preferred before hire and required within one year.
- For the LPN pathway, an LPN license in the state of Iowa is required.
