About The Position

This role provides nursing assistance to physicians, obtains vital signs, greets and chaperones patients during their medical visits, maintains medical documentation, schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests as ordered by the physician, and processes prescription requests and referrals. The primary location for this position is the 841 Building in Downtown. Requirements
- Medical Assistant II certification or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in obtaining vital signs
- Experience with medical documentation
- Ability to schedule patient care, treatments, and diagnostic tests
- Experience processing prescription requests and referrals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with physicians and patients
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a house calls or home health setting
- Familiarity with Baptist Health's electronic health record system
