About The Position
ChristianaCare Primary Care at Linden Hill is seeking a professional, dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant I with strong communication, integrity, and solid technical and clinical skills. Primary Care at Linden Hill provides comprehensive medical services for adults and children, including gynecology, women's health, vaccinations, physical examinations, preventive medicine, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. The Medical Assistant I supports physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Responsibilities
- Greets and supports patients virtually and in person.
- Prepares patients for visits.
- Performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs).
- Assists with exams.
- Maintains exam rooms and equipment.
- Manages EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.
- Handles clerical duties.
- Troubleshoots video visits.
- Supports patient portal access.
