Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, current Wisconsin LPN or current Wisconsin EMT.
- Equivalent education and/or clinical experience meeting the qualifications of the role.
- Current AHA BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within the required timeframe.
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills and a passion for caring for children.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and families while rooming patients and obtaining vital signs.
- Assist with examinations, office procedures, immunizations and point-of-care testing.
- Educate patients and families while supporting preventive and routine pediatric care.
- Manage patient messages, prescription refill requests and Epic documentation.
- Partner with Dr. Sheedy and the care team to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
