Medical Assistant, Certified Department: Infusion Clinic Location: Chelsea, MI Pay: $18.00-$23.62 per hour based upon Medical Assisting and patient care experience Why Join Us? Additionally, the Certified Medical Assistant will have the following duties and responsibilities of telephone triage support, maintaining patient flow through clinic, bringing back patients for their appointments, obtaining the medical history form and verifying information with the patient, entering medical history information into the EMR system, prepping patients for any/all procedures performed in the Infusion Center, generating referrals, prescriptions, testing referrals, and all discharge paperwork using an EMR system, scheduling the patient’s follow up appointment as needed, discharging patients and answering any questions that they may have, ordering medical supplies and stocking inventory, maintaining clean exam rooms and stock with supplies. Requirements
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three months on the job training and recent medical field experience.
- Must have MA certification or be willing to obtain within six months of being in MA role.
Responsibilities
