About The Position

Ascension St. Vincent's Cardiology Brunswick is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will prepare patients for examinations, assist physicians with medical procedures and treatments, and record vital signs and medical histories. You will also manage clinical logistics, maintain supplies and equipment, and perform clerical duties such as answering phones and maintaining patient records.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High school diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Medical Assistant preferred.
Nat'l Medical Assistant (MA) Certification preferred - CMA (Cert. Medical Assistant), RMA (Registered Medical Assistant)/AAMA Cert. (American Association of Medical Assistants). NCCT, AAMA, or AMT are acceptable certification sites.
Completion of Basic Machine Operators (BMO) cert. preferred.
Current registration with State of FL as a BMO Operator preferred.
