About The Position

Loyola Medicine is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their Abdominal Transplant team in Maywood. This full-time, day shift position offers a competitive wage and a great work atmosphere. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing direct patient care, handling patient registration, scheduling appointments, and performing various office-related tasks. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS CPR by the American Heart Association
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program OR one year of Medical Assistant work experience
• Phlebotomy skills
• Must obtain at least one (1) of the following Medical Assistant credentials within 6 months of hire date: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no employment visa sponsorship available)
